Victory has a long tradition of building truck bodies for the building supply industry. When Erie Materials decided it was time to upgrade some of the trucks in their fleet, they turned to Victory for a high-performance solution designed around their operation. With a mixed fleet in place, Erie took delivery of multiple curtain side bodies and a van body earlier this year to support their evolving needs.

By working closely with Erie’s leasing representative, Victory’s sales and engineering teams were able to clearly define the requirements for each body. Our collaborative, personalized approach is key to ensuring customer satisfaction. Strong relationships are at the core of Victory’s business, and our deep understanding of the building supply industry, combined with decades of curtain side body manufacturing experience, allows us to deliver best‑in‑class results.

35 Years of Millwork Delivery Expertise is Built into Every Victory Body

Victory’s reputation in the millwork and building supply industry is built on decades of hands‑on experience and long‑standing partnerships with companies like Erie Materials. We understand the realities of millwork delivery... fragile cargo, tight job sites, and schedules that leave no room for error. When it was time for Erie to upgrade their fleet, they turned to Victory to integrate high-performance truck bodies designed to meet the demands of their operation.

Curtain Side Bodies Built for the Building Supply Industry

Curtain side truck bodies are a favorite in the building supply world. They combine the open access of a flatbed with the protection of a dry van.

With our deep roots in the building supply industry, we took that knowledge and reimagined what a curtain side body could be, using modern materials and manufacturing processes, and of course considering customer feedback.

The result is a curtain side body built with galvanized steel front and rear frames, smooth curtain tracks, and ergonomic buckles for easy one-person operation. We’ve added lighter curtain poles, compact tensioners, and sliding center posts to make loading wide materials like doors and lumber even easier.

Optional features for Erie’s curtain bodies include a painted diamond plate floor for added durability, front‑wall access doors in addition to the rear door, and roof‑mounted F‑track.

A Smarter Take on the Dry Freight Van Body

Alongside the order of eight curtain side bodies, we also built a dry freight van body for Erie Materials’ fleet.

Victory’s Van Body, a dry freight box is a best‑in‑class solution shaped by decades of customer feedback. By refining the traditional box truck body, we’ve created a design that helps crews work safer, easier, and more efficiently every day.

This van body was built to a straightforward, work‑ready specification, featuring a durable wood floor, Victory’s galvanized steel scuff, two rows of e‑track on the front and side walls, and F‑track recessed into the floor for flexible cargo securement. The body also includes small access doors in both the front wall and rear door, adding convenience without complicating the build.

What Happens When You Design Around the End User

This group of truck bodies came together through close collaboration with the leasing company and Erie Materials to define a spec that fits their operation. Not the other way around. By focusing on real‑world use, we delivered bodies with practical features that support their day‑to‑day work, rather than relying on a predefined build sheet.

At Victory, we see every truck as a critical business tool. When uptime, efficiency, and durability matter, choosing the right partner matters too.
