We worked with North Jersey Truck & Trailer Services to deliver a specialized build for a customer who moves heavy safes, each weighing thousands of pounds. One particular challenge was creating a body tough enough for the job while maintaining a perfectly smooth transition from the liftgate to the inside of the truck. The smallest gap could trap a loaded cart, bringing work to a halt. Our engineers eliminated the drain trough in the stainless rear frame and added a smooth aluminum threshold plate, giving operators a seamless surface strong enough to take repeated impacts without fail.
The body is equipped with a 66,000-lb-capacity Palfinger liftgate and extra marker lights for visibility during early-morning and after-dark deliveries throughout New York City. Built on an Isuzu cab-over for tight urban turns, this custom body also features galvanized scuff panels to protect the interior walls and E-Track for securing the safes in transit. Every detail, from the reinforced flooring to the rear cover with our logo lasered out, reflects Victory’s focus on practical strength, durability, and user-driven design.
